FARFETCH: CAPTURING THE LOOK

FARFETCH: CAPTURING THE LOOK

Recently, FARFETCH, the leading platform for the luxury fashion industry, held a fashion shoot at D10 STUDIOS. Here are some designers who really caught our attention…

What’s the next big thing in fashion? These brands capture the look.

First up Julie Brøgger. The Danish born, London-based designer, who trained at Royal Danish Academy of Arts, blurs lines between masculine and feminine cuts, with tailored pieces and flowing garments, all crafted from the fabrics she designs for each season.

At Copernic, the Parisian based brand from creative duo Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, classic pieces are updated with a contemporary flare. Très chic urban style.

Our favourite Manchester-born designer Maximilian Davis, of the MAXIMILIAN brand, creates cool, colourful looks inspired by Caribbean Carnival traditions, that are part of his Trinidadian heritage. Think graphic t-shirts and geometrically printed jeans. We can see why Rihanna is one of his biggest fans.

Another denim look we crave is Made in Tomboy. These Italian street fashion specialists, comprised of a collective of designers, really capture the style. Try the Madonna straight-leg studded jeans, Marilyn high-waisted skinny jeans, or the Ursula flared high-waisted jeans. Match them with a favourite tee and pair with one of the brands logo-print tassel leather tote bag.

Nensi Dojaka rocks it with a throwback to the 90s MTV Awards night style. The London-based, Albanian designer, reveals straps, bras, and mid-drifts in her collections, along with tights containing cut outs, flowers, and mismatched seams.
